This program is intended to provide an update on optimal management of chronic pain syndromes, including Migraine Headaches, Fibromyalgia, and other Chronic Pain Syndromes. Particular emphasis will be placed on the use of novel pharmacological and non-pharmacological strategies.

TAMARA MILLER, MD
Tamara Ann Miller, M.D., is a Board-Certified neurologist with Advanced Neurology of Colorado, LLC, in Fort Collins, Colorado, and works closely with Multiple Sclerosis Center of the Rockies, LLC, the most active Multiple Sclerosis medical center in Northern Colorado.
After earning her Doctor of Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA, 1986, she completed an internship and residency in Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Miller moved to Fort Collins in 1992 and has been an active member of the Colorado medical community ever since.
Dr. Miller is a member of multiple advisory boards and is an international and nationally renowned speaker on Multiple Sclerosis with associated poster, abstract, and peer reviewed publications in the U.S. and abroad. She was elected the health professional of the year 2006 by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Colorado Chapter and is currently a Clinical Instructor with the Department of Neurology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
Dr. Miller is also actively involved with Advanced Neurosciences Research, LLC, in Fort Collins, Colorado, and is the proud recipient of over 100 research grants and contracts. Dr. Miller has participated in Phase I-IV clinical trials evaluating a broad array of neurological agents on a spectrum of neurological diseases. Currently her main areas of research are in multiple sclerosis and migraine.
MICHAEL B. BROWN, DO
Dr. Michael B. Brown is an anesthesiologist in Fort Collins, Colorado and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital and UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies. He received his medical degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and has been in practice between 6-10 years
JENNIFER ATKINS, E-CYT
Jennifer J Atkins, E-CYT is owner and operator of Adaptive Yoga Specialist LLC. She holds a degree in Kinesiology from CU Boulder and is a certified yoga instructor since 1999. Over the years she has had the opportunity to support many people with special needs such as Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, TBI, stroke and cancer survivors as well as injury rehabilitation.
In 2013 she began working with the Parkinson's Support Group of Larimer County providing weekly classes in northern CO. In 2015 she was contracted by the City of Fort Collins ARO (Adaptive Recreation Opportunities) Department teaching weekly classes for people with MS. During this time she was also contracted by PAR-Parkinson's Association of the Rockies, BIAC-The Brain Injury Alliance of CO, and collaborated with the CSU OT graduate program.
At the time of the Covid 19 shut-down, Jennifer was teaching 5 weekly adaptive yoga classes, serving 6 private clients and was practicing as a Certified End of Life Doula. Immediately, Jennifer took her adaptive classes and services online and developed several outreach programs, understanding the needs of her many clients at this challenging time. Since March 2020 Jennifer has taught over 100 online classes and continues to develop and enhance the services of Adaptive Yoga Specialist LLC.
